Bactolac seeks Equipment/Maintenance Engineers in Hauppauge, NY to gather requirements to develop product specifications, produce conceptual/practical designs, design/update operating and maintenance processes/ systems & controls etc. for pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment; Create detailed design drawings & draft design analysis applying engineering principles/techniques/tools; follow engineering principles to draft plans/designs for equipment placement, custom equipment or existing equipment modifications to improve efficiency, reduce costs and eliminate production wastage; troubleshoot and perform corrective/preventative maintenance of various pharmaceutical & process equipment/ machinery; draft/develop proposals for process development/ improvements/ modifications, equipment calibrations, design modifications, maintenance solutions etc.; develop custom solutions & prepare drafts of custom layout drawings for advanced equipment, sophisticated machinery, site master file layouts, HVAC, piping etc.; prepare IQ, OQ and PQ protocols/reports for new equipment as per cGMP requirements, draft engineering change reports, validate new equipment etc.; routinely research the market for new engineering related designs/processes/techniques being implemented in the pharma industry for implementation etc. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering/Engineering Technology or related.
